Rose Thorpe – General Manager
Rose joined Muddy Fork as General Manager in Jan 2023. Rose is responsible for all day to day activities within Muddy Fork, leads the sessions and co-ordinates the team of volunteers. Rose has a huge passion for helping people and is a keen gardener. Rose epitomises the Muddy Fork ethos of putting others first and is a real ambassador for what we all believe in – we are lucky to have such an inspiring and caring leader.
Pete Atkins – Garden Co-ordinator
Pete has been involved with Muddy Fork for over 2 years and works hand in hand with Rose to make things happen in the Garden. Pete’s commitment, caring nature and ability to get along with anyone make him a truly special person. Over the past 12 months Pete moved from being a volunteer into the Garden Co-Ordinator role and he has delivered several key projects in that short period of time to the benefit of the project overall.
Volunteers
Without our amazing team of volunteers, quite simply Muddy Fork would not exist. We
have listed below all of our current volunteers and could write paragraphs about them all. One thing they all have in common as that they give up their own time to deliver this project, every one of them brings a different skillset, a special something that combines together to make Muddy Fork a special to be. Thank you volunteers, without you there is no Muddy Fork.
Trustees
There are currently three Trustees responsible for the governance of the Charity:
Darren Read
Barnaby Vallance
Ruth Badger
Campfire Group
Our Campfire Group helps us keep informed internally and all up to date with developments. It’s a creative ideas forum, and invites feedback to help us improve the service. The group is open to all participants, volunteers, staff and Trustees, and meets quarterly around a campfire – weather permitting!
